Traditional crafts experience ! You can try to touch some traditional culture of Hokuriku 3 prefectures.

  • Toyama Prefecture : Masunosushi (Trout Sushi, traditional local food of Toyama Prefecture) making experience, traditional pill making experience
  • Ishikawa Prefecture : Hands-on Kanazawa Gold Leaf experience, hands-on Wajima-nuri (traditional local lacquerware) experience, local Taiko Drumming Experience, Unsui Experience (You can dress as a Zen monk, and then take a 30 minutes tour around the monastery in full costume), Kutaniyaki porcelain making experience (Potter’s wheel, or painting)
  • Fukui Prefecture : Zazen (seated meditation) experience at Eihei-ji temple, Miso making experience, Houcho (Japanese kitchen knife) sharpening experience, Washi (traditional Japanese paper) making experience
